TERMS AND CONDITIONS – WORDS IN WINTER
Tickets are sold by Words in Winter (auspiced by Spa Country Events Group Inc ABN 94 272 445 103) who is responsible for the Event. The following conditions apply to sale, entry and attendance at the Event.
- Words in Winter may amend the program at any time without notice. Unavoidable program changes will be advised where possible via Newsletter (for subscribers to Words in Winter newsletter), on the Words in Winter website, Facebook, and/or on-site.
- You must present a valid printed or digital ticket for entry to events and abide by any terms of entry into the venue.
- You must provide proof of eligibility for concession to Words in Winter sites and Words in Winter may refuse entry if this is not provided upon request.
- The right of admission is reserved and patrons arriving late may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event.
- You must turn off any mobile telephones, pagers and similar equipment before entry.
- Participation in Words in Winter and entry to Words in Winter sites are at your own risk.
- To the maximum extent at law, you release Words in Winter, its directors, employees, subcontractors and agents from any liability whatsoever arising from your attendance.
- Children under 15 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
- Words in Winter reserves the right to examine and search all bags (including handbags), parcels and packages brought into Words in Winter sites, and to affect such other security measures as are reasonably necessary.
- Words in Winter is not liable for any claims, damages, compensation, losses or expenses that may result from an event being cancelled or changed.
- Words in Winter reserves the right to record, take photographs and video, which may include images of attendees, for the duration of the festival and across all sites and reserves the right to use all images and video across Words in Winter media platforms thereafter.
- By attending, you release Words in Winter from any claims for infringement of proprietary rights, invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation or any other cause of action.
You must not:
- Enter any Words in Winter event with a camera or other recording device without prior permission.
- Photograph, record, or digitize by any means at Words in Winter sites, other than for private non-commercial purposes, without express permission.
- Wear or otherwise display offensive signage or logos or engage in ambush marketing.
- Words in Winter may refuse admission to, and eject from, any person whose behaviour is inappropriate or a threat to public safety.
- Sell or distribute any goods or services or distribute advertising or promotional material in Words in Winter sites without prior written consent.
TICKET REFUND POLICY – WORDS IN WINTER
At Words in Winter, we are committed to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all our patrons. Please carefully review the terms below.
General refund policy:
- Tickets are non-refundable except where a festival session is cancelled.
- In lieu of a cancelled session refund, you may exchange your ticket for another session (if seating is available) by visiting the Ticket Office in person up to four hours before the session start time. [Venue address to be added by Words in Winter based on festival venue.]
- A cancelled session refund request must be submitted by email to hello@wordsinwinter.com and refunds will be less any POS costs associated with the original sale.
- Refund requests will be processed within three (3) business days after the festival finishes. Refunds will be made to the card or account from which the original purchase was made.
Refund exceptions:
- No refunds for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets.
- No refunds for dissatisfaction with the event, artist performance, or any other subjective reasons, including change of mind.
Festival Cancellation:
If Words in Winter has to cancel the festival in its entirety more than 48 hours before it commences, ticketholders will be notified promptly and will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price, less any POS costs. Refunds will be made to the original payment card or account.
Event Rescheduling:
Words in Winter cannot guarantee that sessions will not change for reasons beyond its control. If guests or topics at a session are changed, your booking remains valid for the changed session at the same time and venue.
Event disruption:
If a session ends early due to disruption, ticketholders will be refunded if less than two-thirds of the event has passed. If two-thirds or more has taken place, no refunds will be provided.
